Our thesis
Founders shouldn't have to choose between speed and structure.
Most teams force a tradeoff. Agencies give you process but move at the speed of process. Freelancers move fast but cannot carry a product to production. Offshore shops look cheap until the rebuild.
We built Tactics to collapse that tradeoff — the structure of a seasoned engineering organization with the speed of a startup. A senior team spanning design, front-end and full-stack engineering, SEO, and privacy compliance, with modern AI-native tooling throughout, lets us ship production software in weeks, not quarters, without cutting corners.
We are not an agency renting hours, and not a fund taking equity. We engineer products end-to-end — from validating an idea in Discovery to taking it to production in Scale — and we keep building our own, so the team you hire is the same one shipping real software every day.
How we work
Three principles, applied every day.
1. Build the smallest version that proves the idea.
Most software fails because it ships too much, too early. We deliberately strip scope. The product on launch day is incomplete. The product on day 90 is shaped by users, not assumptions.
2. AI-native engineering, senior craft.
Modern tooling with AI in the loop throughout the build — code review, architecture, test coverage, documentation. The leverage compounds across a project: decisions improve, regressions get caught, the codebase stays understandable. Not a gimmick; just how we move fast without cutting corners.
3. The client owns everything.
Source code, infrastructure, deploy keys, customer data, vendor accounts. We do not lock you into proprietary platforms. The day after handover, you could fire us and your business keeps running. This is not optional for us.
